Setting up!

Hey everyone, I’m back! I just recently started experimenting with social media and connecting my blogs to it, so I am going to give this a little test run and post this random blog to see if I have everything up and running correctly! I am posting the links to my Facebook page and Twitter account on here so that you all can go like it, and follow me if you want!

I hope everyone is having a great, and adventure filled day! Keep smiling, it’s actually contagious!

Hey everyone!

I know that I have been posting a lot recently but it’s to make up for all of the courses and activities that I have missed on the Blogging 101 courses due to all of the homework that I have been swamped by. I would just like to let everyone know that I will be posting some sort of picture, or meme relating to either travelling or food and I will try to describe it to the best of my ability and why it relates.

My Two True Loves

I have recently read a prompt that asked: “If you could split your time evenly between two places, which would you chose?”  This prompt has actually made me think about what I would do because there are so many things I would want to do in the many places that I would want to be in. I would possibly say I want to split my time in an all you can eat buffet, and in the gym.

While I love travelling, I don’t think that this would be appropriate for the prompt because it would involve many places. So, I have decided to focus on the two other things that I love to do, eating and working out. I was always fed pretty well as a child and it grew with me as I became a college student. I also started to love working out as I became more involved with sports. I am trying to become a body builder and that means that the two things that I have to do are the ones that I truly love: eating, sleeping, and working out constantly. It would also help out a lot with the stress that I encounter because of the massive amount of homework and tests that I usually have to worry about.

Along with travelling, I believe that documenting your travels is equally as important. While you may not be the best photographer around, you can still bring out your inner photographer and capture all of the beautiful scenery, and events going on around you! This blogger has the right idea of photographing the beautiful scenery around them and they did an awesome job at that!  https://wordpress.com/read/post/id/84406041/562

get yourself piece of this pie

As you all know, my blog is about travelling and different ideas on where to travel. This time I am going to switch it up and post about my all time favorite subject, food. I absolutely love food and the only reason why I am not a star of a new reality show is because i also love to work out. Instead of travelling to a different area, I am going to travel to a restaurant that is near me and one that I actually work at. Its name is Plaza Pizza. It is an extremely popular pizza joint around the area that is known by all of the old timers because it is cheap, it has been around for a long time, and the recipe has never changed. The pizza that is sold is Sicilian style pizza and it really gives a bang for its buck. On my lunch break I always have to make sure to grab a slice or two because after making it for so long I just can’t help it anymore.

Who needs a translator when in Spain?

The first place that I am going to post about is a country that I have actually visited once. This country is Spain. I have no comprehension of Spanish, Catalonian, or any other language that is spoken there but the people there are possibly some of the friendliest people that I have ever met. While I was there I purchased a fedora and I tried to wear it like a normal hat. A person came up to me speaking Spanish and was using a lot of hand gestures so I thought that he was upset. It turned out that he was trying to fix my hat. After using a translator, we had a conversation about to wear fedoras, and he bought me a coffee. It was a pleasant surprise compared to how a lot of people from back home are. The culture that is there is also amazing. I saw people dancing in the streets, music constantly playing, and people constantly walking around like they had no worries and nowhere to be. The beaches there are also incredible. I can’t recall what the name of the beach was, but I do recall it translating to the seashell bay I believe. This bay had some of the bluest waters that I have ever seen and it had the softest sand that I have ever stepped on in my life. There was constantly people walking around, swimming, and playing in the sand. I also got stopped by a couple who apparently thought I was some sort of celebrity, or they wanted to make fun of an American tourist and my translator was in on it. The bars are also extremely insistent that you have a drink as well. While there, I was thirsty and hungry so some friends and I went in and asked for a coke. The bartender was very insistent that instead of a coke, we get a bottle of rum. We were on a supervised trip at this time so we couldn’t accept it. All in all, Spain is a beautiful country and I will definitely be writing more on it but unfortunately I have to conclude my post with the bar story. Until next time!

The Big Purpose

Welcome everyone! On this post I will be telling you what I will be posting, what I will be encouraging, and what has inspired me to start this page. I’ll start out with what I will be posting; I will be posting mainly blogs about travelling. The different ideas that I have for travel locations, information on things such as food, cultures, and things to do around the locations during the day and night. As my page progresses I will try and post different stores to buy travel gear, and different souvenirs, or accessories that can make your travelling experience better. With this page I am hoping to encourage my readers, if they haven’t travelled much or at all, to go out and experience the world that we live in. With all of my other readers I am hoping to teach them about the cultures of the areas that they have already visited, or are going to visit, share with them different locations that they haven’t been to so that they can go and have an even better time at the location, and different ideas that they can use to make their trips less expensive and more enjoyable. I am also hoping that the different people reading this would be able to provide feedback on my articles and maybe even teach me a couple things on what I am posting as well. I am hoping that the feedback could help teach me more about the areas that I am posting on because I will mainly be posting based off of research that I’ve done, and not experience. I moved from Pennsylvania to Florida in hopes of experiencing new things and fulfilling my urge to travel. I travelled to France and Spain in high school and I fell in love with it. I want to travel even more while in college but I am currently living on a college student budget and paying for tuition in the school that I am at is difficult, let alone travelling to another country and paying the tuition there without scholarships. I am hoping that I can also learn about different ways to travel cheaply so that I will be able to take advantage of that and to be able to travel in the near future.
